How does this make you feel about the community? Do you feel safe? Do you think that you will get looked at differently now in the community because the two suspects are your age?

What them four people did doesnt fase me really because they have always been the trouble makers and it kind of makes me feel safer knowing they'er not walking around town anymore. ive known they were the ones behind pretty much everything bad that went on in town. so im glad they'er caught and i think the town is better off now.
ReplyDeleteI think that it is sad that kids who are only 16 are breaking into stores and stealing stuff is sad. Why do people do that? I do think that Tyrone’s name will be looked at a little funny, but in a while people will forget about it. Also I think the community is kind of use to it but probably sad. People do break into shops a lot here. So I don’t really know what they are thinking.
ReplyDeleteregarding the brake in of area buisness i think it brings our community together and i do feel safe even though one of the kids used to live becide me in bald eagle.I belive that people judge 16 year olds as bad people but we are all not just the people how werent brought up right wich is a lot of us but still not all
ReplyDeleteI think our community sucks. Tyrone is a horrible place to live in. I hate it so bad. We have so many burglers,kinappers,rapeists,and the number of people here that do drugs and drink just makes Tyrone look like a scruff ball town. And i absolutely don't feel safe at all. One of the brake ins was right behind my house. no we won't get looked at differently,just becasue were the same age doesn't mean were anything like the teenagers that commited all the crime.
ReplyDeleteI feel that the community is very upset with these young teenagers. I do feel safe about this I just don't understand on why they would be like that or act like that. I do think people will think as us teens as a group differently. as in the movie "30: A Muslim in America" a muslim states "why should I have to appoligize for someone else's mistakes?" I think some people will not trust us to be in stores with out parents or movies with parents. sometimes I feel the world discriminates against certin things because of one or several people not the whole population?
ReplyDeleteThis makes me feel the smae as it's been, it's not going to change. Just because we had a little crime spree and they belive it's the same people maybe the crime will stop. I don't live in tyrone, but i have and it's just like it's been since i lived there.
ReplyDeleteAlso i dont think my age group will be looked at any differently than the 60's age group or the 80s. Plus our town isn't the only place that has such a strong concentration of crime.
Well Personally I don't blame the kids at all! I blame the borough council. I blame them cause now may I ask how many police we have working? The that Officer Beachem said "We're gonna keep working on this until everything is tied up and we can bring some peace back to the community," There hasnt been peace in our community for years! Of course he thinks so cause he is basically the only police man working, then people wonder why kids do the things they do. I dont think people should view the town differently if they do oh well its their own fault. Yes I feel safe, i knew the one kid personally I know he wouldnt hurt anybody, unless he had to. Yeah they make bad decissions but doesnt everybody? Even though they make bad decisions I think id feel safer with them then if i was with the police we have. I think we woulnt get looked at differently because their only two kids their not half the town.
ReplyDeleteI don’t like the fact that they are my age. But the fact is that kids around 16-18 years old are doing stuff like this every day. Its has not only happened in Tyrone. People should not look at us any differently unless you give them a reason to think you could do something like this.
ReplyDeleteI dont really feel any different about my community because this could happen anywhere anytime. I dont ever feel safe in Tyrone because there are drug addtics and criminals walking everywhere anymore. No i dont think i will get looked at any differently because they are the same age as me but they all have been in trouble with the law since i can remember i've known all them sence i was in like 3rd grade and people in our community know that they have a bad record.
ReplyDeleteYeah I feel safe, why wouldn't I? Noboby got shot or killed. And no, I don't think we will get looked at differently, every person individually are different. The community shouldn't be judgemental on everyone now.
ReplyDeleteI think the people of the community the are every upset about what the three boys did. i still do feel safe after this happened beacuse i kinda know the boys who did it,and im not to worried about it. when i first heard that all that went down i kinda figurted it was them. all the boys who did it are always in trouble.i think the people of the community should still trust teenages, but they should just watch out for the ones that they have heard bad thing about.. also i thnk as many times as the boys got into troble that they should stay lock up for a while.

Also now sense that happened, realy bad out comes when a teen walks into the store or takes a look at the cash cleark and get glances from the cleark. But the people who got cought had a criminal record sense they were like 6 so. also thay dident mean harm thay just wanted some money fast not killing any one so no reason to be scared.
ReplyDeleteI don't feel safe in my community because there are a bunch of people out there that well hurt you for know reason at all. They well destroy your property just bbecause they think it is funny and it is not theirs.
