It is going to kill the whole ecosystem, and damge the water. The people that live there are going to see prices in the food that comes from there go up. The price of sea food that they catch there is going to go up.

It changes my opinion alittle bit but not a whole lot.

  3. this oil spill in the golf of mexico will without a doubt be a huge killer in the wild life not only affecting fish but birds and turtles and larger animal that have contact with the water around the gulf area and i bet it will cause some human troubles and it will cost alot of money to stop this spilling of 5,000 gallons of day but not to mention the acctuall oil costing the people money so to solve this messy problem it will kill wildlife and cost a lot of money

  4. I think that this should of never happened. They should check those pipes every 6-8 months. The way it is going now if it keeps coming and hits the shore it can affect anything. They are especially worried about turtles though. This is going to be affecting the economy a lot i mean the guys that have to pay for this.! Although i think that now that one happened they should start checking all the pipes under the ocean

  5. i think they need to try and hurry the cleaning process up so we will not have as many problems.
It is going to hurt a lot because there will be less wildlife and that helps us a lot.

  9. This incident was STUPID. It should have never even happened. Whoever caused it should pay for ALL of the damages that will happen now and in future years. Our planet is already polluted enough and now its going to be even WORSE. I'm starting to thing that no one seriously even cares about what happenes to this planet. All people care about is money and profit. Oil is a limited fuel and that's 5,000 gallons a day being spued into the ocean because of a FIRE in the middle of a big body of WATER. Now guess what? Because of someones stupid off shore drilling idea, WE'RE the ones who are going to be punished for it because they're probably going to make oil even MORE expensive.
