9/11 as an End...Not a Beginning

Looking back to the beginning of the book, we see that the 9/11 Commission states, near the end of Chapter 1: "The conflict did not begin on 9/11."

If not, when did it begin? And where?

Try to reflect on all the events that were covered in the 9/11 Report: A Graphic Adaptation when formulating your answer.

  9. I this conflict started when we were giving support to the rebel groups fighting against the soviets in 1989 Afghanistan. The attacks on U.S. soil though began on august 7, 1998 when the simultaneous bombings of U.S. embassies in kenya and tanzani.

  10. In 1993 some of the member including Bin Lauden blew up the underground garage and caugh it on fire and there was a small piece of evidence that lead to Bin Lauden. Way back they started to blew up and attack cities in different countries( which should have been another warning ).
