I think my mom called the school and got me and my brother out of school. I do remember a few days after 9/11 i went to Shanksville and saw the big hole in the ground from the crash and i signed this huge white thing and wrote a little messsage.. I also saw like memorials for the people that dies there. That's all i can remember.

ReplyDeleteI was in second grade. I didn't know anything about it till I got home when my mom told me. As soon as I got off the bus and started walking towards my house, is when i heard about it. I really didn't think much of it at the time. That's all I can remember.
ReplyDeleteOn the day of September 11, 2001 I was in second grade in Mrs.Yanillo’s art class. I remember my neighbor came and got me out if school cause my mom was at work.
ReplyDeleteWhat I remember of 9/11 is that I was in Mrs. Stager we were watching a movie. Then Mrs. Stager had got a phone call and went over to Shannon (she moved and I don’t remember her last name) and she started crying and she had told me that her aunt and uncle were in the twin towers and they might be dead. After that we watched the news about it then we sang god bless America. When I got home my mom gave me a huge hug and tried to explain what happened that day.
ReplyDeletei do not remember the teacher i had when the towers were hit the only thing i really remember is my mom and aunt picking me up and going to my aunts house with my sisters and cousen.
ReplyDeleteAll i remeber was sitting in class and teachers were runing around all confused. I went home and people were crying and upset. then after that many people celbrated the deaths and hard workers.
ReplyDeleteI remember most parts of the day when 9/11 occured. I was in 2nd grade and mrs. Stever was my teacher. It was pretty early morning and we were having our free time. I was sitting at the back table with my one friend and the phone rang. After the teacher got off the phone we were all called to go back to our desk and sit down. Everyone thought we were in trouble cause we never got called back to our seats. Then she told every what had happened. Although some of us had no idea what the world trade center was.. so she drew it on the board and turned on the news. All of us were in shock.Mrs. Stever though that they would send us home from school after the news of flight 93 appeared. Although we continued our day at school but we kept the tv on with the news going all day.

whne the 9-11 attack happened i was in third grade, and i was at east side elementary school in johnstown P.A. i remeber all the kids in my class was getting out beacuse flight 93 crashed about a half hour away from us, and my mom was at work so she couldnt come get me.after all the parents came and picked up up there kid i was the only one left in my class and i remeber crying because i thought that just beacause my teacher and i were the only ones left in the class that we was going to die.they locked all the doors in the school and had all the tvs on so we had to see what was going on.when i got home that day i wasnt even allowed to go outside and play.
i remember i was in second grade, the class came in from recess and the teacher got a e-mail right when we walked in the class room saying that the twin towers got hit. the teacher told the class what had happened, and we all just went and sat down. the teacher started to cry, she was in so much shock. she never though that something that tragic would happen to the tiwn towers. then for the rest of the teacher keep the tv on to see what eles would happen, or what they were going to do about it happening.
ReplyDeleteWhat I remember from 9/11 is I was sitting in Mr. Mitchell’s second grade classroom reading a book. Then he got a call, hung up, and turn the TV on. I don’t remember what I was watching but soon after that Mr. Mitchell kept getting call after call because the kids parents were picking them up from school. I remember being like the 5th person to leave. I don’t remember anything after I saw my mom sitting in the office waiting for me to get there so we could leave.
ReplyDeleteOn the day of 9/11 I was in second grade, and my teacher was Mrs. Stever, and it was durning free time. We were playing, and she called us over, and told us what happened. Then when I can home I told my parents. Also other kids parents where coming to school, and taken them home.
ReplyDeletei remember being in mrs. hayes' room and seeing someone come to the door and just watching mrs. hayes break down in tears. she walked over to us then and told us that a plane hit the world trade center and i just remember not knowing what the world trade center was and not knowing what was going on.i just sat there and watched the news and mrs hayes cry.
ReplyDeletei remember i was in 3rd grade, i remember i was doing math homework and i noticed the television was on my teacher had turned it on, the news was on and they were saying that a couple of planes had smashed into the twin towers, then reports of an explosion in the pentagon occured and thats what i remember.
ReplyDeleteI was in Mrs. Elders and she was teaching us how to say “may I go to the bathroom” in Spanish. The heard for the teachers to check there emails. When she read it you could tell something was wrong. After she told us, all I could think about was where my cousin at was. He was to be in New York and was not sure where at. Along with a couple people thought that they had people that were in the World Trade Center. We all started to talk about it. Many people’s parents came to get them but I was to stay at school and go home on the bus. On the way home I just keep thinking what I was going to do that night. After school I want to were my dad worked. When I got off the bus I never had anyone waiting but not today. My dad’s helper, Donnie walked up to get me and we walked back down together. The store seemed like it was getting ready to close down. It was quite with little TVs set up and watching the news. I had not a clue on what was going on but I did know that I found my cousin and all my family was safe. After my mom got off work I want home and we turned the TVs on as soon as we got there. I was not allowed to go outside and play. I had to stay in my living room and be quite. I was not allowed to sleep in my room that night so I sleep in the room. The reason that they told me this was because it was closer to my parents and they wanted to know that I was safe. The next day I finally got to sit down and my parents told me what happened.
ReplyDeleteI remember i was in third grade in ms. albrights class and i was furious because we were not allowed to go out to recess because the of the smoke. when i got home my dad was saying about how bad of people terrorist were..thats all i can remember.
ReplyDeleteThere are some events I can remember that happened on 9/11 and there are some events I can’t. One thing I specifically remember is on impact of the first tower all teachers had their TV’s on except ours. We eventually got our TV on and watched a little bit of the news. I ended up staying the entire day at school and got on the bus like normal. At the time I really didn’t realize what was going on. When I got home my mother had the TV turned to the new. The news showed both the first impacts damage and the video of the second plane’s impact.
