What are your opinions on the political cartoon? What is the cartoonist saying about the dangers of war? With the Fort Hood shootings should people rush out and join the army like they did after 9/11, or should it steer some people away from joining? If you had the choice to enlist today, what would you do and why?
I think that this cartoon is amazing. I think it is saying that war is not a game it’s serious, it’s nothing to joke about. Many people lose their lives everyday due to war. I don’t think everyone should rush out all at once but I do think little by little men and women should join. If I had a chance to enlist today I probably would because I always wanted to take after my Aunt and Step-Dad! I think it makes you a better and stronger person. Maybe even help you get over some life struggles you might have had or still do.
ReplyDeletethis cartoon represents that war or crime can happin any were even our back yards like the fort worth shooting that happend a week ago. i do not believe this shooting should alter or change anyones mind on joining the military because this was a rare act that no one would of perdicted plus cody smells bad.i do not like the cartoon it is kind of disrespectfull and may be hurtfull to the family members of the victems to to shootings.
