Do you think there should be a law in Pennsylvania banning texting and/or talking on a cell phone while driving? Why or why not?

To me it dosen't really matter, but Pennsylvania all ready has that law. People are going to do it anyway so how really cares.
ReplyDeleteNo, I don't think that we should have a law saying that. It is the drivers responsibility to be careful and cautious is they are going to use their phone while driving. Maybe if they wreck or something and it was because they were texting or using their phone while driving may resolve in a consquence. I think everyone should just drive save if they are going to use their phone while driving and then we wouldn't have any problems.
ReplyDeleteI think their should be a ban on texting when driving. When people are looking at their cellphones their eyes are not on the road, wich could cause an accadent.
ReplyDeleteYes, because it is very hard to multitask. When you have your life and others to worrie about not only in your vehicle, but others around you, then you should realize just turning your head away from the road once could change your and others lives dramatically.
ReplyDeleteYes!!! Because obviously it is hard and you would miss so much from a stop sign to maybe a red light and end up killing people. I think that it is a great idea actually. Because people get hurt from it. Whatever is going on can wait untill you get to where you need to go and if anything you can always pull over and talk to them. Dont be dumb and talk and drive. So I think it is a great idea if they banned talking and driving
ReplyDeleteI do not think it should be banned because not alot of people are dying or crashing because of texting and driving...
ReplyDeleteI just think that if they into a wreck fomr texting and driving then they should get fined or something like that...
I believer that their should be a law against texting or talking on a cell phone in the state of PA. This is not only a risk to a driver and his/her passengers but its also a risk for other drivers. Texting or being on a cell phone is a proven fact that it is distracting and can cuase auto accidents. The average person had a .24 slower reaction time and missed 8% of the obsticales in the test. This test shows that texting is distracting and should be baneed.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't matter if they ban it or not people are still gonna do it. Yeah i think they should but it's not going to change anything. Unless they had like a tracker or something, but that would cause a lot of chaos.
ReplyDeleteyes i think there should be a law that ban text messaging while driving it is very difficult to concentrate on the road if your texting and that could cause you to have a accident but a phone call on the other hand is not as bad as text messaging because while you’re talking on the phone you are able to watch the road and when texting you have to look at your phone to type back and you don’t have to look at your phone to talk
ReplyDeleteNo i do not think there should be a law that would ban texting while driving. Obviously if the person is willing to take the risk they are either comfortable or just dont care. It is their responsibilty. Even if they did make a law against it its not like people would follow. It would be a law just like the seat belts are.
