Times Square Bomb Scare (cont.)
The failed car bombing in Times Square raised security alerts in the area and reminded many people in New York and elsewhere to be vigilant about suspicious activity. The New York Times reported on heightened anxiety near Times Square in the wake of a manhole fire two days after – and mere blocks from the site of – an attempted car bombing.
Do you ever worry about terrorist attacks? Or do you generally feel safe?

I generally feel safe and don't worry about terrorist attacks. When thinking about it, and what happened in New York recently is pretty scary to think about and also think about what happened on 9/11, like if something like that would ever happen again. So it just all depends, but usually it doesn't worry me.
ReplyDeleteThe United States says that we are safe from almost every terrorist attack, but we are not. Me personaly I don't feel safe some of the time, and this is why.
ReplyDeleteI personally feel safe. If we all take time to be careful then you shouldnt have to worry abou to much. i also think that the goverment dose a pretty decent job of protceting us and goes through so much security that its crazy. So I usually do feel safe.
ReplyDeleteI do worry that they could be another attack anywhere. If our security is taking a break or slacking, anyone could get by with a weapon. It is hard to say what is going to happen but you got to look at what is going on and what happened before. For the most part I do feel safe when I am at home because more than likely if they would happen then they would go after a bigger building, or more important building. I knew that our country is trying to do everything in their power to keep us safe and I respect that but mistakes will happen at any given time.
ReplyDeletei worry from time to time about terrorrist attacks. but i trust our government will do the best they can to prevent it. my guess is we our the safest nation out there. i dont really have to worrie where i live unless there is a nuclear bomb droped
ReplyDeleteUsually I feel safe. I mean most of the time that these bombings happens its because the US lack of knowledge and empathy to take time and take care of our problems. I mean I believe that if the US really cared about what has been happening then we would take action other than war.
ReplyDeletei dont really ever worry about terrorist attacks. i dont thinkone would ever happen in tyrone. most of the time when im in tyrone i feel safe i dont think someone is going to go on a killing rampage in tyrone. so im safe.
ReplyDeleteNo, I don’t feel safe, I know it’s sad to say but it is so true. I refuse to walk by myself, I’m always with friends or family never alone. When I see someone you seems suspicious I get worried. Honestly how would you feel if that was YOUR FAMILY in 9/11/01? I’m not really a judgmental person but its hard not to with all the terrorist threats and attacks.
ReplyDeletei do worry about terrorist attacks but i never worry about them happening here because they seem to only wanna go for big cities or towns that have government buildings. i feel pretty safe about where i live whenever it comes to terrorists harming my town.
