Current Events Week 2 American News

This video is about health care, and insurance. This mans expenses are one million dollars a year to stay alive, who’s responsibility is it to pay for the healthcare? Should people like this who are in most need of care be cut from their insurance because they are expensive? Who has the authority to decide what person deserves to get healthcare or not? Do you think everyone in America should get full heath care? Why or why not?

  1. Oh my. It is his job to pay for it but, for crying out loud he's living on a ventilator. He pays for insurance so they should give it to him. It’s nice to see that they are stepping up. I don’t think the insurance company should be allowed to fake it away. The company decides on who gets cut by who has them most expense I think.

  2. I think if the person is really that sick that the goverment could help out. Thats the same for anyone who is that sick I mean if it was the president im sure gov. would take care of him! But all in all do i think that everyone should have full health care? no. For example me. I dont get sick very ofeten (knock on wood) so i dont think that I need full health care and people like my good health shouldnt need it.
