What do you think about texting in general? Why has texting become so popular? Has it replaced the use of calling people as your major form of communication? Some say that texting while driving should have as much as a punishment as drunk driving...do you agree?

I think that texting is convenyet. Texting has become so popular because it's so easy and you can talk to multipul people at a time where as a phone call you can olny talk to one person at once.Again it has replaced the use of calling people.Yes i agree that texting while driving should be punished like drinking and driving because it is very distracting while driving and could cause a wreck.
ReplyDeleteyea texting has deffintly took over my ability of calling, because when ur in the middle of something u can just text and there fro sure get..and yes it should be illagl because im sure its very hard to pay attention to the raod while your also on the phone.
ReplyDeletePersonally, at times i like texting and at time I hate it! Texting has become so popular because it makes it so easy to talk to someone or tell them something i mean you dont have to take time outta your day or theirs to sit there and talk on the phone. I think it has replaced calling somewhat. I think that texting and driving shouldnt be with the same punishment of drunk driving. Although i know thier both about decision making but... its their choice and if their gonna text and drive and take a risk of killing themself or other then its their choice and when that happends that is when they should get in trouble.. It should be know though just like cigarettes that if cons and if they dont wanna follow then its their fault!
ReplyDeleteTexting is something i love to do. My phone goes off from the time i wake up to the time i fall asleep. My friends and i always have something to say or joke around, and then there are fowards. Forwards are stupid and most of the time lies so i ignor them. i think texting has become popular because it is fun to do and you can do it basically any where. Theres no awkward silience like when you are talking on the phone. i think texting while driving is just as bad as dirnking and driving because its all your fault when you wreck into someone. texting and driving is something dumb to do and i would never text and drive at the same time unless i really needed to but id keep as much focus on the road as i possibly could.
ReplyDeleteTexting is so popular because it's less annoying then talking on the phone all the time. i personally hate talking on the phone and would rather text all the time. Yeah i agree, texting and driving is very dangerous, you could kill poeple by not paying attention to the road to text. People have already got in car accident's by doing this youd think people would learn by now not to do it, it's really dumb.
ReplyDeletei like that i can text people. when they get it, it does not have to be right that minute. the bad think about this is that it might be a couple hours to you get an answer back. i know alot of people that still call people for quick information. i hate the idea of people texting and driving. it is almost as bad as drinking and driving for the simple fact that you are not paying attection to the road and will not have time to react to what is happens. when you are drunk you are not able to respond in a fast motion. also the same with texting, you are not going to be sure what is comming ahead if you are looking down to type the message, leaving the wheel. you might miss signs and cause a wreck. i do think it is okay if you are stopped at a stop sign or light to text because you are not moving.
ReplyDeletei think texting is agoood thing at times but some people just text way to much. when you look at some teens or parents they are always texting.. and it has not overcome calling yet, and i do agree with your question because there are alot for racks caused by people not paying attion to the road because they re texting.
ReplyDeleteI like texting, and I'm usually doing it 24/7. It is a very easy way to communicate with people. If you just have to remind, tell, or ask something small, you won't have to waste your time calling the person up. It hasn't replaced the use of calling people. People probably do text more than call, but calling is still a big thing too. I even call my friends sometimes, not just text them.

Texting has become popular I think because it is just normal for teens. I say this because maybe you are trying to do somthin but you cant do it with a phone in your hand all the time. So you text. Or your at a sporting event sometimes its just eaiser. But I do a gree with laws it should have as much punishment as drunk driving. Its stupid to text and drive. I would feel horrible if i killed someone because I was texting and driving. But thats just my opinion.
